Chicago rapper / producer Saba is still only 23 years old, but he’s already established himself as one of the most forward thinking young talents in Hip Hop. Having come up from Chicago’s Westside, he already has a few mixtape under his belt, and has been working with Chance the Rapper since the Acid Rap days, and most recently he sang the hook on Chance’s track Angels
Bucket List Project, Saba’s debut and breakthrough album, dropped in October 2016, to critical acclaim. Saba handled most of the production duties on the record, with guest spots coming from Twista, NoName, Smino and more. The album finds the right balance of playful, youthful exuberance, poignant lyrics, and Hip Hop laced with Jazz and Soul influences, showcasing Saba as another rising star in the vastly talented Chicago scene.
Omerta Inc will be bringing Saba’s ‘Bucket List Project’ to vinyl for the very first time, to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the albums original release. Limited to 500 copies pressed onto 180gm deep transparent purple vinyl. Each copy will be individually hand numbered in gold pen and come housed in a high quality matte finish sleeve with original artwork.
